C'est même pire que ça : quand je zoome tout en gardant mon doigt sur la souris ça dézoome ! Pour zoomer il faut lancer son doigt

macOS Sierra version 10.12.4

GGB version 5.0.526

So, if the problem is solved with GeoGebra 6

does il mean that now, we can't work with GeoGebra 5 with a computer with pad..?

(me for example with my MagicTrackPad with my Mac, or with a MagicMouse as Rousseau-Wallon mouse with his Mac)

oui, plus de problème avec GGB 6

Hi

There is always this zoom problem on Mac with GeoGebra 5

So, because of that, i can't work with the last versions of GeoGebra 5 on my Mac

Is it the dead of GeoGebra 5 on Mac..? (because this post is solved, so the only solution to use GeoGebra correctly is to work with GeoGebra 6). Thank's for the answer

Zoom used to work correctly in GeoGebra 5, so I don't know why it is broken now. Last I knew GeoGebra 6 is (would always be, I understood) significantly slower than GeoGebra 5. On top of which, the only way to view multiple windows in GeoGebra 6 is as tall thin strips side-by-side. The whole incredibly useful ability to rearrange the views at will is utterly and completely missing from Geogebra 6.

You can arrange Views in v.6.

Select the menu icon, then View.

Select all the Views you want in your GeoGebra window, then drag them around by dragging the icon displayed in the top right corner of each View, till you get what you need.

https://wiki.geogebra.org/en/Views

Or you can use the SetPerspective command

Since I like spaces cleaned up, I always close the menu where I choose my views before trying to move them around. I see that the top-right icon is a 4-headed arrow while the menu is open. This is better than I thought, but since the menu is taking up (quite a lot of) space, is rather imprecise as well as being clunky (since all moving must be preceded by opening the menu rather than just grabbing the title bar and moving). The algebra window does not get the nice icon which is unfortunate because it means long expressions can't be displayed will simply by moving the algebra window to lie across the bottom or top of the screen.

Yes

Zoom always broken in GeoGebra 5 and it is irritating

I understand a little English, so when Michael says "please upgrade to GeoGebra 6", does it mean that GeoGebra 5 will be abandoned ?

I would not say "always broken"; only broke with Mojave for me. I hope GeoGebra 5 is not abandoned because in addition to the slowness of GeoGebra 6 I have to say that even with the zooming bug the interface of GeoGebra 5 is more time and much more space efficient than GeoGebra 6.

does it mean that GeoGebra 5 will be abandoned
No, but some new features / fixes may not get in Classic 5

So, this incredible zoom bug will never be fixed..?

and GGB6 zoom in my Koch's snowflake will never work as good as in the GGB5, much slower ! so sad
