wrong max value of function in interval if it's a boundary

Not a Problem

given are a polynomial function f and an interval,

If the maximum of the function coincides with one of the boundaries GeoGebra sometimes gives the wrong boundary as maximum.

Seems OK to me, it must have a local max in the interval:

hi Michael

I can understand that given this definition of maximum the function hasn't got a maximum in the given interval, but maybe GG shouldn't give a solution or something as not defined. Now A is given as result for maximum, while all the x-values between -1.1 and -0.89 have got a greater function value than A.
