When I create a dot plot in Spreadsheet and save it, the file re-opens as a histogram

How can I preserve the settings for a Geogebra file that is a dot plot graphical display of data? When I re-open the file, it always shows a histogram and changes the values on the x-axis.

I cannot reproduce your issue with one of my files.

Can you post your file, and perhaps paste a screenshot of the ggb window before closing the saved file?

Thank you

Here is the Geogebra file and a screen shot of the dot plot and settings. I saved the file with this image on the screen shot and the associated x and y-axis settings. Thanks so much for your help!

You are using quite an old version (5.0.389.0). Please try installing the latest version of GeoGebra Classic 5:

I updated to GeoGebra Classic 5.0.426.0-d with a date of January 2018, and the issue is still occurring. Should I switch from Geogebra Classis to something else? I'm not sure why this is happening.
