Viewing and Editing GeoGebra Sheets Acquired from Another Person

I often see shared GeoGebra sheets available online demonstrating a GeoGebra feature or two. Often I wish to see how that feature was created. For example, what commands were entered into the Input list? Which objects were chosen from menus, etc? In other words, how did the person create it?

So my question is, when a person opens up a GeoGebra sheet created by someone else, how does one get full access to it in order to fully examine it? In particular, how does one see the commands that created it?

Thank you.

To resume in words in English what alfabeta so nicely has drawn in his italian version:

click on the icon in the lowerright corner - select Details - click on Download to get the applet as a ggb-document you can examine

Hi.

Thank you for your response, but I still am not quite certain how to do what I asked about.

First of all, let me mention that I use GeoGebra over the web using Google Chrome as my browser running on Windows 7.

Let me start by getting my terminology correct. Attached is an image of a freshly opened blank Geogebra screen. The left side of the image is what I've been calling the Input List. What is the official name for that area? I've seen the term "Input Bar" used a lot, but this area doesn't seem like a bar to me. It seems more like a list. It's a list of commands. In any case, I will refer to it in this current message as an Input List.

As an example of what I am trying to do, please examine this GeoGebra sheet available online:

https://www.geogebra.org/m/...

If I wished to examine its Input List, how do I do so? I have tried downloading its ggb file, as you have suggested, but when I go to reopen it, it displays the same thing I saw when viewing it from the given URL directly. In other words, reopening it as a ggb doesn't give me any new access to its Input List. If I go to the View menu and explicitly turn on the Input Bar (as it is called under View menu), all I see is the Input Bar at the bottom of the screen, which allows me to enter new commands. I still do not see the Input List the creator of the Geogebra page had used.

Please give me some detailed instructions on how to see the full Input List of the example GeoGebra page I have given you.

Thank you.

If you want to see the list of created objects and examine the way they were created, first check in the View Menu the Algebra View because it's there were you can find all. If you open it in GG6 make sure you also show all auxiliary objects:

Click in the Graphics, open the Style Bar

1 In the Style Bar select the Settings

2 Select the Settings of the Algebra

3 Check the option Auxiliaty Objects

Now you can click on every object in the Algebra an look in its setting how it was created and how objects rely to each other

ccambre,

Thank you. After following your instructions, I am now able to see the "Input List." Very nice.

Again, thank you.
