Use a Slider (0-1) to get a Point (D) to move along a Polyline

Hello,
I want to be able to move a Slider from 0-1 so that Point D will go from the beginning of a Polyline to the end.
I know this is possible but I don't know how to do it.

The name of your polyline is f and the name of the slider (from 0 to 1) is a.
Use
D=Point[f,a]
