The geometry app continuously crashes

Solved

The geometry app continues to crash without reason.

I think that's a little weird since it worked perfectly until a few days ago, and now it is almost unusable.

I've also tried to uninstall and re-install the app but it didn't work.

Please fix that.

Sorry - please uninstall then re-install to get the working version

I am a new user, going through the tutorial tasks. So, I do not do that much. Still there were 2 crashes up till now.

Very strange that after 10 months there is nobody looking into it.

Re-install is not the solution! That is just for keeping messengers busy and quiet.

Is there no logging or stacktrace for debugging purpose?

No, actually that was the solution in that case (to go back to an earlier version).

OK, mentioning earlier is essential.

I'm not experiencing crashes. Can you please describe a simple test case that triggers the crash?

Also, please, let us know which version you are using and your OS.

Version: 6.0.631.0-offline (09 March 2021), on Windows 10

Crash is not simply reproducible. I follow tutorial of geometry and do some simple extra things as newbie to become acquainted with u/i. Then crash suddenly happens, meaning: the screen becomes fully white; all tools, menu, views, etc disappear. I can press X at top right to exit. Program asks for SAVE or DON'T SAVE, but after clicking SAVE nothing happens. Screen stays white.

Sorry, seems OK here. I guess it's something specific to your computer

Come on. I must admit it: my Windows 10 is fairly stable. Crashes occur sparsely, even at my own (Java) programs, mostly run in Eclipse so that the stacktrace reveals culprit easily.

To find the GeoGebra crash cause, there should be something like replay facility, that is automatically logged. Is that available? For the few commands entered before the crash such facility (activated temporarily) should not be a killing overhead.
