Text Object Has Extra Line On Top of Text

This always seems to happen, it's not just confined to one file.

It only appears to happen when a new line is added after some text. Then the extra blank line pops up above the first line. It only becomes obvious when the background color of the text object is changed.

Maybe this was by design and added as a "margin"? However the line is taller than the default text size.

Please always post your .ggb file when asking a question or reporting a problem

Ok, it happens in this file, but it also happens in all new files created.

Once the blank line appears, it can't be backspaced. Another anomaly is that if text is copied from one text object and pasted into a new text object, spaces between words are stripped.
