Teaching Remainder Theorem with GeoGebra

How can I teach my daughter remainder theorem with GeoGebra?

Suppose I have an equation, f(x) = x³ - 6x² + 2x - 4 . I wish to divide it with g(x) = 3x - 1 . I will have a remainder. Now, how to explicitly solve stepwise p(x) = (x³ - 6x² + 2x - 4) / (3x - 1) so that I receive the remainder as the end result? Can CAS be used in this case, and how can I use CAS if it can be used?

The example I want to use is attached in GeoGebra file, for you to provide suggestions and improvements.

Rational Functions and their Asymtotes may help your efforts...it contains part of what you are looking for...it what I use to teach the topic...

for your example the remainder is -3.963/(3x-1)

Thank you very much. I am trying for a personal perspective for the source.

You have been real cooperative.
