Maybe I don't understand your idea

I think it's the same as

Sequence(<list>(n), n, <StartPosition>, <EndPosition>, <integer-Increment>)

only "(n),n" is added to use an exist command.

If this is undesirable in a certain applet e.g. for didactic reasons, you could create a customer tool (parameters as list). NOT possible

only I though this because first(locus,length(locus)) have a lot of points. I know I can do

sequence(element(first(locus,length(locus)),k),k,1,length(locus)) ; inc=n

simply it was easier

Take( <List>, <Start Position>, <End Position> ) is possible with sequence also
