Suggestions about GeoGebra 6 for mac OS
Hello GeoGebra community,
First of all, I would like to thank you guys for developing and improving GeoGebra everyday.
I have been trying to use GeoGebra 6 (GGB6) for mac OS since, I believe GeoGebra 5 (GGB5) is no longer going to be updated.
I think, in general, GGB6 works fantastic and I understand why you are trying to have an standard interface for all devices (desktops and tablets). Of course, it has a new interface and it will take some time to get use to it.
I just have a few suggestions that I hope you can add to GGB6 for the mac OS.
1. For some reason, I cannot copy and paste in GGB6. Sometimes I write some GGB scripts in other text processors, and then I bring it to GGB. In GGB5 works fine the copy and paste but not with GGB6. The online GGB6 version works fine though. Could you please allow Copy/Paste in GGB6 for mac OS? Or maybe it is available, but I have not found it.
2. GGB5 has the fantastic feature of dragging any View (as a separable window) and place it anywhere you want. So you can have a great combinations of Views (CAS, Grafics1,2 and 3D). However, GGB6 does not have that feature, or I have not been able to find it. So with GGB6, you can get one horizontal-view option, see examples below.

3. Finally. Is there a way to open the Object Properties in GGB6 in a separate window? This is something I can do in GGB5 and I find it very useful since I can keep all the other Views open.
Well, I think that"s all. Maybe there is a link where I can read and learn how to use all the options and features of GGB6 and find a way to do all my requests, but I have not found it. Maybe you are going to keep updating the classic GGB5, so I can keep use it. In any case, I do appreciate all the effort you guys make for helping and supporting all GeoGebra users like me :)
Thank you guys, and have a great day.
I have the same problem. Why does Copy and Paste work in GGB 6 for Windows, but not for Mac. This is a big problem, as I can't use a lot of Skripting commands
have you tried setperspective[]?
1) Thanks, we'll check
2) Open the "View" menu then you can drag around the views (using the icon at top-right)
3) sorry, no
Please try copy & paste in the new version (v400)
