One of the options in the spline command is Spline( <List of Points>, <Order ≥ 3>, <Weight Function> ) What is the weight function doing? What is being weighted? (How?)
https://wiki.geogebra.org/e... does not mention any weight function. Even the wikipedia link referenced does not mention it. Perhaps some explanation could be added to the help page as well as an example.

¿es posible que la pagina de ayuda haya cambiado en las ultimas horas?
ninguna weight function en la pagina que veo, sin embargo sí pone Spline( <List of Points>, <Order ≥ 3>, <Weight Function> ) en el tip que aparece cuando escribo en la barra de entrada
continuando con las pruebas he conseguido saber que en algun momento del algoritmo se usan las distancias de los puntos y que Spline(l1, 3, sqrt(x^2 + y^2)) es lo mismo que Spline(l1)
escribiendo otras funciones f(x,y) se consiguen otros efectos por ejemplo Spline(l1, 3, sqrt(x⁴ + y⁴)) tiene esquinas menos redondeadas con similares diferencias a las que hay entre x^2+y^2=1 y x^4+y^4=1
