Hi, out of nowhere, geogebra5 refuses to accept any input, nor to solve any equation for example.

I tried to remove and reinstall it again and delete its configuraiton folder, no luck.

I am pretty sure problem is on my machine rather than on geogebra itself, please help me find it out.

Also maybe try the portable version and/or GeoGebra Classic 6

This is log from installed version, geogebra portable 5 has the same issue, whilst geogebra portable 6 doesn't start at all since geogebra 6 requires Ubuntu >=14.10 and I have 14.04. My java vesion is: java 9.0.4 Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 9.0.4+11) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 9.0.4+11, mixed mode)

Maybe try Java 8

I'll try and let you know. I have to remove a PPA 8which updates java) first, without making machine instable.

Hi, guess what? It solved by itself, I don't remember doing anytihng special (same java version), maybe I deleted some log files (not in the configuraition folder as before) but I am unsure. Geogebra now works flawlessy. Thank you for your support!
