what you have is

{f=0,g=0}

2 equations

and what you should solve is

f=g or f-g

You can use command Intersect(f,g)

There is a class of commands available that allow you to solve equations and systems of equations.

The basic one is the Solve command, and there are others related to it, depending on the environment you are in with your worksheet. Have a look at the Solve wiki page and start exploring the available and related options.

Also remember that any time you type a command or select a tool in GeoGebra, you can press the F1 key to get a quick help or choose to be redirected to the corresponding page of the wiki that explains in detail and with examples the correct syntax for the command, as well as its expected behaviour.

Your GeoGebra version looks quite old. Please update to the latest version.https://www.geogebra.org/download
