Hi helpers

I am going to teach the Clock Arithmatics for my teachers students,

I create this applet, but it needs some modification in the sliders,

1: can I end the slider with another slider , ie, from 1 up to u where u is another slider.

2: if I want the slider to animate for just 1 time (from 1 up to 20) is there an option to do that. if you can help , pls modify the attachment.

A SILLY MISTAKE IN THE 2ND ATTACHMENT, OPEN THE FIRST PLEASE

Hi mohamed,

I think this is what you were looking for. A slider w (with its label hidden) controls the value of after. after varies from 0 up to u. Animate the slider w. Animation stops when after reaches the value of u. Even though the animation stops you must still manually turn it off.

Hi M-Olouglin

Thank you for your help ,exactly what I wanted.

As you know when we animate the slider , a bottom appears at the lower left corner.

But here I animated the after slider while this bottom did not appear.

I don’t know the reason,

Help again

Hi Mohamed,

I see when you create a web page that the sliders start and u both show the pause/play button when you animate them but the slider w does not. If you look at the slider properties of w you see that there is an if condition in the speed box which causes the slider to stop after completing one cycle. However this seems to over-ride the default behaviour of sliders in a web page and prevents the pause/play button from appearing.

So it seems you can have either the pause/play button and no stopping or make the slider stop but lose the pause/play button.

This can be solved by invisible unused slider (trick by Mathmagic, see http://www.geogebra.org/for...).

Thank you very much for the tip.

Mohamed

I have added a slider called dummy slider, made it invisible but turned on animation. This has made the pause/play button visible again. I had not realised that the pause/play button controls all animated sliders at once.
