Slider when using a parameter not coming up by default

When typing in a function like f(x)=a*x^2+b*x in geogebra 5, the program picks up that I am using parameters and asks if I want sliders. I do, so I say yes. By default, the sliders used to always come up 'selected' but now they come up be default not selected. When I do select them, they both appear on top of each other, so I have to move them. Not complaining at all about the software as it is free and I have used it for years. But I wonder if there has been an update that introduced this 'bug' and if it could be fixed if possible! I know there are new versions, but I find this one works best for me!

Unfortunately the setting in Defaults/Slider is also not taken into account.
