Size of the updates

Hello! Everytime a new Geogebra update comes up, I wonder : why is the update so heavy? It is always something like 60MB. Does the update contain all the program< Does it replace the actual program by a new one?

I just updated my programs right now (on Ubuntu 18.04), most of the updates are a few MB (1MB, 5.2MB, 12kB...). But as always, the geogebra update is 60MB...

This is really frustrating.

Thanks.

Yes I guess it is this one

That one is really out of date, unsupported and doesn't get updates (of any size!)

Please always download from an official geogebra.org address: https://wiki.geogebra.org/e...

Sorry, after verification, I have the geogebra repository added to my repositories, so it must be the official version.

As you can see in the picture I attached, the update size is 61.9MB, wich is a few times more than what I have to update for every other software.

(sorry if my english is not very good)

Yes, that's expected (sorry).

Ok, so everytime there is an update, the whole software is erased and written back? I guess my SSD isn't really happy about it :p

Anyway, I just discovered the online version of GeoGebra, it is really nice! I think I'll start using it from now on.

Thank you very much for the answers and for this great software!
