For such a problem I create a conditional text for the addition: sign1=Als(t2<0, "-", "+")
Then in the numerator of the second fraction I write the absolute value, so the right sign appears before the fraction and not in the fraction itself.
If you're happy with lowest terms then you can use FractionText(abs(a)) together with sign1=If(0, "-", "+")
