sqrt(18)=3*sqrt(2)
sqrt(16)=4
sqrt(21)=sqrt(21)

The SurdText command only reaches the expression sqrt (465).

So you have the choice. You know up to which number SurdText does the job definitly very well by trying. If you have to deal with larger numbers, shift to CAS, what's the problem.
For the examples in your initial question you 've got two options now.
