Showing complex as polar changes calculation result

The three Z values are the same formula, with the same input values, yet one of them is wrong.

  • To make Z_a, which is correct, I used X_a, which is just X, but set to show in complex number form, instead of polar coordinates. I wouldn't think the visual representation (polar vs. complex) would make a difference in the calculation result.

  • To make Z_b, which is correct, I used Y_a, which is just Y, but written with a '0i' component tacked on. I wouldn't think there was a difference between 15000 and 15000 + 0i.

Am I missing something, or is this a bug?
