It would be very useful when using graphs to explain things to students if the horizontal axis could show multiples of pi when showing trigonometric graphs.

You can adjust this manually, by setting the Distance of tick marks for x-axis as e.g. pi/4.
To do so, select the wheel icon (or right click / long tap on the Graphing View, then select Settings in the context menu), then select Settings in the appearing context menu, and in the xAxis tab of the appearing panel, check the Distance checkbox and enter pi/4 in the empty box of the drop down list next to it. Press Enter to confirm, and close the Settings panel.
