Shade Region Between Two Polar Rectangles

Hi All --

I'm interested in finding a way to shade the region between two arbitrary polar rectangles. I've tried writing inequalities, using the IntegralBetween and the Spline commands -- all to no avail. Weirdly, I can do it using the Surface command in 3D, but that doesn't flow through to the 2D split screen. Can anyone help?

In particular, I'm interested in writing an expression or constructing a command that shades the area between the sector s_{o} and s_{i} in the attached file link: https://www.geogebra.org/cl...

Also, here's a picture: the area labeled R_{ij} is the one I'm trying to shade. My next stop is to approximate the polar rectangle with a polygon, but I'd like to avoid that solution if possible.

Thanks!f64342056b1ba2a19303283ceb59c13e
