the attached photo is of my iPhone when opening an activity and trying to type in values for the parameters - I cannot even type the minus sign ( - )

when using other apps on my iPhone - like "notes" - no problem at all, I get full key board

Any idea?

Change the Input Boxes to "Symbolic" (Settings -> Algebra)

It doesn't work for me.

The number a itself is defined as "symboliuc", however, in the input object, I cannot define it...please see attached file

OK - now I got it.

However, a more general question - how to set my shared activities so my students will be able to use it while using their smart phones?if you can create a simple standrd parabola file for me where they can change the values of a,b,c
