Rigid polygon bug

Not a Problem

I've encountered a bug when using the rigid polygon tool.

It occours, when I click an existing polygon with the rigid polygon tool active. Most of the time it works fine, but sometimes the rigid polygon won't keep the properties of the original polygon.

I've made a video where it happens in a random polygon generator, but I have seen it happen when clicking normally constructed polygons as well.

The applet can be found here...

Any idea, what is going on?

In the applet it looks as though it only occurs, when point U and V is on top of each other. Could this be what causes it?

Worked around it by changing a value from 5 to 4.99 so that the points aren't on top of each other.

Will leave the post here if others encounter the same.

it seems to me that you create a polygon and some vertexes of polygon are not free. the tool only do this: first vertex unchanged, second vertex in a circle with radius first side and center in first vertex. the rest of vertex are calculated in a reference created with two first vertex.

But wouldn't that make it a problem every time I get a new shape and not only in the case of two points being on top of each other?

No vertices are free objects in my original polygon.
