Result of solveODE command

Hi, I tried to solve the differential xy'+2y=3x+2.

SolveODE gives me a solution of y=-1/2xy'+3/2x+1 while by hand I arrive at y=C/(x^2)+1+x and symbolab does, too.

I am only just starting to learn differentials, and I cannot seem to simplify this CAS answer by hand because the y' is nested inside the answer. I also see that there is no C constant in the answer?

It also gives for a point (2,4) an answer of y=3/2x+1 while I calculate y=x+1+4/x^2

Is there a command or something that could help me come to the correct solution? Have I done something wrong with the input?

Hi,

Try to type x*y' or x y'.

I see this now, geogebra thinks "xy'" is one variable wheras x y' are two. Thank you very much, this explains some other problems I had, too :)
