I want to restrict the domain of the surface x^2+y^2=4 such that it only show the z coordinate from -2 to 2 but i don't know the command for the same. Kindly help me.

Try to use command Surface()
Surface(2cos(t), 2sin(t), h, t, 0, 2π, h, -2, 2)
