Hi,
In my file, c = Element[L_4, 1] + 0 ; record to speadsheet doesn't work if c = Element[L_4, 1].
Moreover, in option (Record to speadsheet) 'Show trace' shows the name of the object. Maybe, it would be better if the caption was displayed.

Do you mean in 4.0 or 4.2?
Works fine here in 4.2 (in fact, we've just rewritten the record to spreadsheet code so that this works, and it will work for 3D objects in the next 5.0 release :) )

Both, 4.0 and 4.2. But I forgot to change my file. It is not possible to record 'c' to speadsheet. If you enter c = Element[L_4, 1]+0, it works.
Moreover, I would prefer to see in A1 'longueur d'un segment' (caption) rather than 'c' (name).
