question mark in tooltip links to English, not to proper laguage in GG 6

it's an item I raised earlier a few times, but on which I never got any reaction. In GG5, when you wanted help, you clicked on the Help menu and selected manual, tutorial or forum.

In the webversion and now in GG6 to, when selecting a tool on the toolbar, along with the tooltip appears a question mark, which is a direct link to the particular wikipage in the manual. The tooltip appears translated, but when clicking on the question mark, you are sent to the english page in the wiki, as if not any translation was made. You can still find 'help' in the menu, but of course the first reaction is to click on the question mark, not to find help in the proper language. For many users it will look as the help just exists in English, and that's a pity

Hi Chris,

the Italian redirect works fine. Maybe the issue is related to your language.

hi Simona and Noel

that must be the reason, but were can I make those translations or links. I have translated the wiki with all the commands a the tools and I regularly check if there isn't anything red in the translationwebsite. So can you tell me what I've got to do to complete this gap?

e.g. the url in the wiki for the point tool is translated on https://wiki.geogebra.org/nl/Nieuw_punt_Macro

There are two translators for dutch, Ivan De Winne did it for years, I came along a few years ago, translating the wiki and later on the things on http://dev.geogebra.org.

But I never saw the database stuf as Noel linked me to and I don't immediately see how to handle with it. Can I find it somewhere?

Noel, this is a mysterious answer...

Where do you find these Hulpmiddelen > Koppelingen toevoegingen ??

That looks like pretty dutch and on the page you linked to I don't see it.

1 and 2 I find, but the result is

04eb49a7a7e3c589b2db95d04dd056db

I can fill in a language (Nederlands I presume) but the lower textfield stays grey, as the bottom 'koppelen met pagina' (link with page)...

But instead of stepwise (and mailwise) procedures, can't I find them anywhere? Have all the other translaters found this themselves?? I can"t imagine you had to mail ten times to everyone to get it on track...

Noel I appreciate your efforts very much but still ... this is the result.

I keep on trying, appreciating any help but in fact counted on some devellopers support. As I just posted in the tranlation group, I asked a question about in in this forum one year ago, still waiting for some answer.

A good explanation guide from the develloppers should made this trywise conversation with hands and feet and screenshots in a forum unnecessary. There a translation group, so an guide should be there.

nevertheless many thanks for keep on trying to solve this!!

You must be becoming an expert in dutch by now...

A pity that the same question one year ago (then on the webversion which it turns out to become standard) never was answered and nobody responsible for translation ever indicated me to link and how to do this. Translating and maintaining the versions is volunteer"s work that could be helped and sustained by proper information
