Quadratic Equations in Vertex Form

I'd like to display a quadratic equation in vertex form, but it periodically (and apparently randomly) switches to standard form.

In the Algebra tab for the imageFunc object, I set the equation type to "y=a(x-h)^2+k".

In the attached app, clicking "Try Another" a few times will eventually result in the equations changing back to standard form.

Is this a bug?

This is defined in the CAS View - it will load a lot faster (and fix this problem) if you define it in the Algebra View instead :)

imageFunc:=y=a(x-h)^2+k

I originally had it in the algebra view, but moved it to CAS so that it would display my rational numbers correctly. e.g. CAS will show y=1/3(x-h)^2+k whereas algebra view shows me y=0.33(x-h)^2+k.

I also would like to avoid using FractionText(-1/2) because it puts the negative sign in the numerator instead of out front.

Is there a solution or fix that would allow me to keep it in CAS View?

What you want is quite simple if you use a function I think, see https://www.geogebra.org/m/cbpbahmy

(You have to be a bit careful generating "a" to make sure it stays as a fraction)

Thank you very much!
