Points on ellipse not accurate if I zoom in close enough

Suppose I create an ellipse for example via (2*cos(t),sin(t)) and then create a point on it, say P = (2*cos(20),sin(20)), at first sight everything seems to be ok, but if I zoom in close enough to the point P, it doesn't lie on the ellipse anymore.


The same problem occurs if you for example if you construct an intersection of a ray with the ellipse and zoom in to the intersection point.


Is this a bug or can this be fixed by changing the internal precision of geogebra? If so, how can I change the internal precision?

I confirm the same behaviour both in v.5 and v.6 Classic.

Does it work better if you use a "real" ellipse
