Plotting function with a sequence of defined points

I am trying to plot the following function, as depicted in Figure f.png (attached):

f: y=50*Sum((abs(x_{i}-x_{i-1})),(i),(1),(12))+20*Sum((s_{i}),(i),(1),(12))

This always gives me an error ("Sorry, something went wrong. Please check your input"), but I do not know why.

Any pointers to my mistake(s) would be greatly appreciated!

The Sum command doesn't work on subscripts.

See https://wiki.geogebra.org/e...

Please post your file.

Thank you for the information. I will try to reformulate the sum command. Probably by introducing distinct variables?

I think you must review the index of your expressions s_0 exist but x_0 not so one of from 1 to 12 is wrong

Thank you for the help. However, x_1 to x_12 as well as s_1 to s_12 exist, so this should not be a big issue.

x_i for i=1 exist but x_(i-1) for i=1 not
