PlaySound[]: why playing midi file was discontinued?

Hi!

Previous versions of GeoGebra were able to play midi files using the PlaySound[] command. But, now, only mp3 file are supported. Any chance to get midi file supported again?

Possibly, we're waiting to see if Google enable it in Chrome (or not...)
