PDF export - infinity symbol rendered as a question mark

In a PDF export of a Geogebra Diagram the infinity Symbol (looks approximately like an eight rotated by 90 degree) is rendered as a question mark.

The font used by Geogebra (Liberation Sans) has the infinity character (U221E). However it is not used.

How can I amend this? Can I?

PS) Possibly also other characters (like greek letters) are similarily affected. I have not tested this.

Sorry, that's not supported. If you use LaTeX it will work ie

FormulaText("∞")

Thanks, this an option.

Unfortunately this does not work for legends.

Ideally (and better than PDF) would suite me tikz or pstricks, since I need the graphics for LateX. Yet currently even very simple graphics get converted totally wrong. Is this due to the limited capacities of tikz and pstricks and insofar inherent or is it due to limitations of the Geogebra export in that formats. In the later case would there be a chance of an improvement in the future?

You can try this in a Caption:

$∞$
What's the problem with tikz? Please post a .ggb file and screenshot if possible
