Parameter controlling animation?
Answered
I have drawn a rectangle and put a Point P on it (Point on object) and started animation on P. This is done to illustrate the concept of perimeter to small children. I would like to access the parameter that Controls the animation and have a text that continuously updates how far the point P has travelled. Anybody knows how?

q=PathParameter[P]
WayOfP=if[q<.25,polyline[{A,P}],if[q<.5,polyline[{A,B,P}], if[q<.75,polyline[{A,B,C,P}], polyline[{A,B,C,D,P}]]]]
You can use the PathParameter command (https://www.geogebra.org/ma...) this will yield a value between 0 and 1, so may need multiplying by a constant to represent the 'actual' perimeter.
Solved the problem! Thank you!
