Opacity unchanged (5.0.175.0)

Hi.

In the attached construction, the layer of blue polygon p1 is 0.

The layer of hatched polygon p2 is 1, and its color should be 25% opacity.

But it doesn't obey. The opacity of the polygon p2 is always fixed at 100%. Why?

Hi

Filling non standard is always opaque.

A Solution can be:

- exchange p1, p2 in the layers

- Make the hatching-filling yourself (Sequence[])

I think it is not a bug because this behavior was same in GGB 4.4.45

But maybe a feature request.

For me the white background of the hatching is controlled by the opacity. Just the lines that appear not to be. Is this the same for you?

While testing I found another problem

Create poly1 and change its colour or filling

Create poly2

Undo

The second polygon is deleted and the changes to poly1 are also reverted, so no undo point when changing the polygon style.

Hi, Simon.

In that ggb, for me the white background of the hatching is not controlled by the opacity (GG 5.0.175.0, windows 7).

However, in this other file, it does. What differentiates one another? :anguished:

Sorry Rafa, I've got know idea other that they are classed as different object types in one. Even that's not the answer as I have two triangles without the problem. :?

I had never noticed before that when you drag the objects the hatching appears to stay still, not move with it.

hello

i can replay your strange bug; do this

create a button and rename to p and bgcolor=white

deselect the fix checkbox of button

then redefine it typing in input line p=Polygon[(0,0), (1, 0),4] and select hactching for p

try opacity of p
