Nouvelle intreface de GeoGebra Tube

Bonjour

Bonjour,

please select the Details icon shaped as a i in a circle to access the Download options.3c90f7c96a376b0d15478a2db56743ee

Indeed, this 'detail' works, but it's only after exploring all icons that you eventally will discover that one of the main features for users of Materials is hidden behind an icon "i" that by the way rather makes me think of "information" than of "Details". The last I should expect from this icon is that it would contain the download option. This is a problem hundreds (and more) of users will have to deal with, and does not stream with the intuitive and logic way which has always been the way of thinking in GeoGebra. So please, give it back a place where people can find it more easilly.

I rather use these help pages to post (possible) solutions than to complain about GeoGebra and its evolution, but this time I doubt that the the replacement of the download option is an improvement

Merci à vous pour vos réponses. Je n'avais pas exploré cet icône "détail". C'est vrai que l'option de téléchargement est un peu cachée maintenant . Est-ce une bonne chose ???

Markus says that the Team won't change it - It's just the first step towards the future features of the whole GeoGebra environment.

The Share dialog and Open with GeoGebra App option also offer different ways to upload and download files.

I'll modify the wiki ASAP (hopefully) in order to simplify the users' approach to this new interface of the Materials platform.

Simona,

where things are to be find is not important as such, as long the way to find it is clear. Regarding icons: a question mark stands for 'help', that's obvious, and the letter 'i' in a circle stands for info(rmation) and not for details. Info can be important, the word details suggest that it just supplies supplementary detailed data about materials. When navigation logic is lost, updating the wiki is not as good as taking care of an intuitive navigation. When a building is a labyrint, I'd prefer good signposts above e.g. a telephone number where you can ask for information. Keep it as simple and as intuitive as possible at the spot itself.

The share diaglog is clear, with just the necessary information, nice! But it looks like the download option is not avvailable here, as you wrote (perhaps I'm wrong). And it looks like the app version is regarded as the primary version of GeoGebra with a possibility to 'export' as ggb for dinos who still use pc's, so be it. The devellopers have always been showing a good feeling for evolution in ict.

But please don't deny that i -> Details -> Download is the obvious way when someone wants to download a file.
