on Fedora 32.

Unfortunately I don't have a Linux-based system, so I can't say if this can solve the issue.

Please try, then let us know if the problem is solved

This hack didn't work for me.


I added the line

app.commandLine.appendSwitch('ignore-gpu-blacklist', 'true');

after the line

const {app, BrowserWindow, Menu} = require('electron');

which is at line 94 in resources/app/main.js.


When I launch Geogebra, "3D Calculator" is shown along side the other items on the splash screen, but then 1 second later it disappears. It is not shown in the menu afterwards.

Sorry, it seems to be a problem specific to your computer / graphics card. Probably https://www.geogebra.org/classic will work in Chrome

It does work in Chrome indeed. I have an Nvidia card and I am using the proprietary Nvidia drivers. Might this be related? Are there any log/debug messages where I could find more info why it's failing?
