New tools only in webversion?

In the Changelog website I read that in 5.0.213 new tools Roots and Extremum are introduced. I see them in the webversion, but in desktop version, using version 5.0.214 the toolbar is still the old one, without these two new ones. Is this meant to be?

In my case it didn't work.

If this is also your case :) please try

Tools -> Customize Toolbar and in the dialog window that opens click Restore default toolbar and Apply

hi

maybe I was not clear in my question.

'Restore default settings' indeed makes tools to reappear if I had removed any, while creating a custom toolbar. I hadn't. Even in the custom settings in version 5.0.214 the new tools aren't present while there were announced to be there since 5.0.213 and they are indeed, ... but just in the webversion.

I reinstalled GGB and now (in version 5.0.214) I find the new tools in the Point Menu.

I cleaned my cache, removed an reinstalled GG. Still they weren't there... but I found the two tools when opening the tools dialog in the list on the right side, even though I never removed them out of the list of shown tools. So I could insert them manually.

On most platforms the suggestion from Simona will do the trick:

Tools -> Customize Toolbar and in the dialog window that opens click Restore default toolbar and Apply

On Mac you have to wait for 5.0.214 release.
