Need help: How to create partdotted partsolid ellipse
Answered
Hello guys, need help!
The title pretty much says it all. I need to draw (2D ofc) an ellipse that has one half of it dotted, while the other half is solid line. How to do it? Please, help as fast as you can. ^^ Thanks!

The way I see to do it is to use the parametric form of the equation for an ellipse.
Enter these commands:
Curve(3cos(t), 2sin(t), t, 0, π)
Curve(3cos(t), 2sin(t), t, π, 2π)
Then change the object Styles property using the Object Properties dialog.
one way more:
Arc( <Ellipse>, <Point M>, <Point N> )
