Multiple iPad Issues with Geometry App — Login, Resetting, Caption, Import, Keyboard,
I am a prolific user of GeoGebra Classic, predominantly the Geometry component—and I love it.
I use a fully updated iPad 7th Generation and occasionally an iPad 3 (iOS v9.xx). We have a NBN fibre-optic connection, reliable connectivity with strong wifi signal, 500gb monthly, and 25-speed data transfer. I also use an iPad 3.
Your recent updates have rendered GeoGebra near unusable on my iPads. Any problems have only occurred with updates since New Year. The only issue I have ever had prior to this timeframe concerns the iPad 3, it being the keyboard doesn’t appear.
Now there are critical issues on the 7th Generation iPad:
— Inexplicable and persistent dropping out and resetting of App that is not related to connectivity issues. When more than about 5 actions are performed without performing a save, an App reset is imminent;
— Excessive delays when loading saved files (minimum of 4 to 5 minutes, with time-outs occasionally). Even simple and basic files with 2 or 3 lines drawn will even take this long.
— The most recent update now prevents me from logging in via the Google option. So now I can’t access that important work. I have had to create a second account that doesn't use third-party login credentials and have to start again. (It is even worse on the iPad 3 as it won't even let me login to the new account.)
— The settings button doesn’t work (e.g., add a caption to a line or point).
— Can’t import an image because the ‘Select from location’ toggle is non-functional.
There are several other problems, but they are minor compared to these — I can work around them.
