Let Use Hide Objects User Side

This is the worksheet I will be using as my example!

https://www.geogebra.org/ma...

After completing step 1 the user will have 3 circles (as needed to construct the angle bisector). However afterwards I want to give them the option to hide the object. However the Show / Hide Object Tool is no good for me because I have a lot of hidden objects that I use for verification and step by step instruction and they all pop up when I select it.

I want to user to be able to hide the circles they drew without the use of the Show / Hide Object Tool. Is there an easy way to do this using some tool? Or is this something I would have to script specifically for my situation. Deleting them is not an option because the angle bisector is dependent on the circles. Input bar is not an option because it won't be user-friendly for the age range I am trying to target.

Thanks for any help! :anguished:

You kan avoid using the hide command by making a button.

Under the buttoms properties you kan on the scripting fan add an

SetVisibleInView Command

ex: SetVisibleInView(circle1,1,true)

Hi

Not tested:

Then, wehn you initiate step 3 (in the global Java-Script)

- delete all objects with objectnumber > objectnumber at beginn of step1 (ggbOnInit)

- create the 2 angle bisectors (for A and B with the command AngleBisector[])

- initiate step 3

It sounds like the checkbox tool would be perfect for this. Have a checkbox on screen that is linked to one or all of the three circles - if students then want to hide it/them, they simply uncheck the box and they will go.

Hi

With check-box:

Not tested:

Then, wehn you initiate step 3 (in the global Java-Script)

- make visible a exist checkbox with fix name

- select all objects with objectnumber > objectnumber at beginn of step1 (ggbOnInit) and type == "conic" (ev."circle"?) and update the properties "conditionToShowObject"

- initiate step 3
