Not a Problem
An den Achsenbeschriftungen setzt das Koordinatengitter leider aus. (In die Pfeile an den Achsen frisst es sich ein Stück weit hinein.)
Problematisch ist das, weil trotz der unterschiedlichen Farbtöne (grau/schwarz) und der Konventionen (positive Halbachse nach oben) Schüler auf die Idee kommen, die Gitterreste könnten Minuszeichen sein (siehe Anhang).
Ich finde, das Gitter sollte nicht aussetzen, sondern einfach im Hintergrund durchgehen.

„Im Hintergrund“ bezieht sich auch auf die Pfeile und Achsenbeschriftungen (z.B. im Anhang das y).
Aus welcher App stammt der Screenshot? Im Graphing Calculator (online) beispielsweise liegt das Gitter hinter den Achsen und geht auch durch. Die Achsenbeschriftung hat einen dünnen weissen Rahmen für bessere Lesbarkeit. (der Screenshot im Anhang stammt aus dem Graphing Calculator)

Dass die Schrift in den Menüs (gui) gleichzeitig mit der Beschriftungsschrift (Achse, Punkte, Graphen, ...) im Graphikfenster vergrößert/verkleinert wird, ist ungünstig.
Kleine Schriftgrößen sind bei kleineren Ausdrucken kaum lesbar. Grüßere Schriftarten verkleinern das Graphikfenster (weil das gui ringsherum größer wird).
Aber das ist schon wieder ein anderes Thema.

btw, 5.0.518 is the latest version of GeoGebra 5 (not 6) so should be save to update. You can also try the portable versions:
