Used GG for years no file issues. Created account to use for web site demos. Only one file created other day every time saved it created a new version in resources. Downloaded it and wiped the whole of resources. Made a video for my site to show pupils how to get a GG account and save and download files using my empty account. At start of video showed my empty resources and then went to show where file just saved was. Unbelievably a file and folder that I had deleted the day before and were not there 5 minutes before when I started the video reappeared!
I deleted them again and at least so far resources remain with just the single demo test file which now seems to update ok without cloning itself as happened with the previous file which reappeared after deletion.
Not so much a problem now as lacking confidence this will not be a regular inconvenience?
Using Chrome on Big Sur MacBook.
Have also noted a couple of bugs where transforming a shape via a vector which ends at a point on x or y axis produces no transform - any other end point fine. Reproduced several times.
Interested to hear any similar experiences.

Same files now re-appeared in my resources and deleted once again. Also files declared private appear public.

Looks like it was a glitch in that file I deleted as was only a test. Seems to work OK in new file.
The reappearing files havent reappeared yet after 3rd round of deletion.
