isinregion 3d objects

I had a question on Facebook about checking if an point is inside a square for instance. Is this possible with a simple command like isinregion?

If not, is it something, that would be easy to implement?

I've looked at the file now. I know that surfaces works in 3d. It is the spaces in the solids I'm looking for though.

Just noticed, that my autocorrect on my phone wrote square instead of sphere in the first post. Sry, my bad.

Thx for fast reply.

I know it works on the surface of the sphere but not "inside" the sphere as I can tell.

Will look at your file when I reach a computer.
