I would like do it both with LaTex and non-LaTex strings

Just to make it clear: Does that mean that it isn't possible to get different parts of a text string shown in different colours in a non-LaTex string ?

No, it’s not possible without LaTeX

Then I would appreciate if the GeoGebra-developers would make it possible to also get different parts of a non-LaTex text string shown in different colors.


But I also totally understand why this won't be made soon, as it is possible in LaTex or by creating several individual strings.
