Is it possible to export a graphics view which is not shown

I have been trying to use the command ExportImage to export the Graphics view while I am only showing the 3D view on an applet, using the command

ExportImage("view",1,"type", "png")

Neverthless it does not seem to work and it always offers me to save the 3D view.

(*) Of course, if I open the graphics view, it works fine.

Am I doing anything wrong?

I have discovered that sometimes there is a workaround using SetPerspective( ) command.
