Integral funktion gives wierd answer - integral[x^-1]

If number q=-1 the command Integral[x^q] gives77c12babc945c954bf3bf7e345d0166f


Why is this? Is there an alternative way to get the integral x^q, given q random number?


As a note integral[x^-1]=ln(|x|)

the alternative can be if[q=-1,ln(abs(x)),integral[x^q]] but it seems to me a bug

Behaves equally strange with other values om q.

Made a workaround by defining my Integral i CAS, where the problem doesnt seem to appear.

Ran into problems (bugs) with the "CAS" definition. Ended coding for exceptions like mathmagic suggested.
