input help

Hi.

Sometimes when I create demonstrations in geogebra, there is this little tool-tip that comes up, labeled "input help" and it is often displayed right on top of the circles on the left side that can be used to toggle visibility of an item when hovering the mouse pointer over that area.

Here in this screenshot you can see it in the bottom left:

Sometimes this makes it nearly impossible to click on the circle behind it to toggle the visibility of an item, because the "input help" thingy is displayed right on top of it.

It would be nice if this was resolved so it's always possible to toggle the visibility of items.

greetings and thanks in advance for any feedback on this issue, Niek

Thanks for letting us know! Could you please describe how to reproduce this step by step? I was playing with it and for me the tooltip was always shown at its correct position. What happens if you click on it / the circle anyway? The tooltip is there to inform you about the buttons functionality and shouldn't be clickable. In my case I could always click the circle.

Thanks. It's a bit hard to describe how to reproduce it. Usually the tooltip isn't obscuring the visibility circles or only obscuring about half of them, so I can still click on them. But then after a while when I've created a list of items, the problem starts to occur for some of the items in the list. If I click on the tooltip, nothing happens and I can't access the circle behind it to toggle visibility. I can toggle visibility in the settings, but this is a bit cumbersome and it's more convenient if you can quickly toggle the visibility for items by clicking on the circle in front of the item.

Which precise version of GeoGebra is this in?

I have two reasonably similar windows 10 computers but somehow one of them has geogebra version 6.0.529.0 and the other has version 6.0.533.0.

Since they appear to update automatically, I don't really understand why they each employ a different version.

Mostly I tend to use the GeoGebra Geometry app where the problem occurs with the tooltip obscuring the circle in front of an item to toggle visibility.
