input box problem

Not a Problem

Hi,

https://www.geogebra.org/m/mtccszrn

I have two input boxes for two straight line equations. When I try to change to equations, it says "Fixed objects may not be changed: Line L1/L2". But actually I do not fix any objects.

In fact, I can change the equations in the offline ggb file, or the "Random" button in my online worksheet.

Does something go wrong?

Thanks,

Alex

When downloading the file in the link I can see in the properties that the two lines indeed are fixed. So just uncheck the option and it's OK.

Strange enough. I am sure I did not fix any objects. It fixes the lines for me when I upload the file!

I added scripts in ggbOnInit(). Now it's okay.

ggbApplet.setFixed("L1",false); //workaround for a bug
ggbApplet.setFixed("L2",false); //workaround for a bug

I downloaded the worksheet, deleted the setFixed scripts, upload it again. The problem arises again. Haha.

Hi Chris,

I am lucky to find one of your applets, https://www.geogebra.org/m/qKFGtBqg . Can I put it in my website http://www.gmath.hk (with proper acknowledgements)?

I made slight modifications: https://www.geogebra.org/m/zwaxehy6

Thanks,

Alex

The fixing while uploading is a thing I never saw. I would try to edit the file online in the activity and unfix it in the uploaded file of the activity itself. Let's see if it still gets fixed!

Of course you can refer to or adapt my online files. To make adaptations isn't pretentious at all, just a normal way of getting along with things the way you are used to.

As you can see I'm making many files for elementary school (from 6 to 12 years). In addition to an interactive course for secondary school I'm building a website for primary school, now finishing with the 3rd year. The opening page of the website is on http://users.telenet.be/chr...

The url for secondary school is http://users.telenet.be/chr...

Although all is in dutch you can easily see what all is about.

greetings and wishes for a nice years (you started already many hours before we did)
