hyperbolic cylinder
Answered
hi
in 3D one can draw a surface just defining y=x².
However y=1/x produces just the intersection with the xOy plane.
I can use a Surface command like Surface(a, 1/a, l, a, 3, 3, l, 3, 3) for this, but for younger students this is rather complicated. Is there a way to define the surface of y=1/x without using the Surface command and what's the problem with this implicit function whereas I can draw many of them?
