In the latest version (6.0.497) there's a support for Degrees/Minutes/Seconds syntax eg 1°23′45″ included (ReferenceChangelog website)but I can't figure out how to use it.

thanks for the idea of just the input.
Since I translated 'degrees, minutes, seconsds' I thought I should find this is whatever command or preference of setting, because fur an input 1°23'45" you don't need any tranlated text. So I still wonder where this translation appears.

For the input there is no special command, just enter 1°23′45″. There is also an option for display in the app settings: in currently released apps it just has degrees and radians, we are now adding "Degrees, minutes and seconds".
thanks Zbynek, I knew there had to be more than just the input 1°23′45″, since there was some translation work. It's a nice addition for the app, since DMS is still widespread.
